What is it about the 50’s that are so appealing, especially when it comes to design? Many people find themselves fascinated and obsessed with 50’s style décor, especially with the diner décor. You know the look - classic checkerboard patterns on the floor, polished and gleaming tables, and soda counters that you could cozy up to and talk about the gossip of the town? It isn’t easy to find a restaurant or diner that looks this way any more, but you can create the look on your own with some paint, vinyl, and the right bar stools.

The first thing you need to do is to choose a room to do your 50’s theme in. Some people love having a 50’s diner theme in the kitchen, while others take their basement and make an entire game room out of it with the 50’s style.
