Chesapeake Bed

It you prefer a more contemporary look in a bed, you might want to think about metal. One particular type of metal bed, wrought iron, can be exceptionally striking when you choose one that you love. There are wrought iron beds that are designed to be used in any room and that will fit into any décor. This bed is not one of those. It is most definitely designed for use in a very elegant bedroom with lots of intricate furnishings and dark, royal colors.

The absolutely beautiful Chesapeake Bed is intricately designed and built in curling wrought iron. The metal of the bed is finished to look like antique pewter, giving the bed a stunning, royal look. This bed, available in queen and king sizes, is truly fit for a queen to sleep in. This takes a step above other bed sets, as this set contains side rails in addition to headboard and footboard. The ornate, swirling scrollwork runs all along each side rail, following the gentle arc all across both sides. The headboard and footboard are made up of very slim vertical slats, topped with more of the ornate scrollwork. The four posts have a carved look with gorgeous decorative finials at the top of each one.

The brilliant designers at Hillsdale Furniture have outdone themselves with this spectacular bed. This is one of the few beds they sell that simply would not work in just any bedroom. This bed is a royal retreat for your master bedroom.
